Armenian Pianists Association Awards Special Prizes at the VIII Arno Babajanyan International Piano Competition — 2025

On July 2, 2025, the Gala Concert and Award Ceremony of the VIII Arno Babajanyan International Piano Competition took place at the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall of the Armenian State Philharmonia, celebrating the conclusion of a week of exceptional performances by young pianists.

The competition was organized by the Kamerton Cultural NGO, under the leadership of its president and artistic director, Armen Harutyunyan, whose efforts continue to play a vital role in promoting classical music and supporting young musicians in Armenia and beyond.

During the Gala, the Armenian Pianists Association, represented by its president Armen-Levon Manaseryan — who also served as a jury member of the competition — awarded Special Prizes to four outstanding participants. These prizes include professional video recording opportunities, offering the pianists valuable resources to further their artistic development and public presence.

The recipients of the Armenian Pianists Association’s Special Prize are:

Araks Ashjyan

Zhanet Khachatryan
(Class of Professor Marine Margaryan)

Hayk Murajyan

(Class of pianist Izabella Paronyan)

These young musicians were selected for their expressive artistry, technical skill, and strong musical potential.
