The Armenian Pianists Association presents its first digital editions of Armenian piano repertoire for six hands.
The arrangements of Aram Khachaturianʼs Dance of the Rose Maidens and Sabre Dance from the ballet Gayaneh were specially commissioned from Naira Khachatryan, Associate Professor at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and an experienced arranger and editor.
Created for three pianists at one piano, these arrangements offer a distinctive six-hand setting of two of Khachaturianʼs best-known works.
Mari Minasyan compiled the sheet music, and the digital editions were prepared and designed for publication by the Armenian Pianists Association.
Naira Khachatryan is a pianist, chamber musician, arranger, and editor based in Yerevan. A graduate and postgraduate of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, she has performed extensively as a member of the Rhapsody Piano Duet.
Her arrangements include works by Komitas, Aram Khachaturian, and George Gershwin, as well as her published four-hand arrangement Dances from Operas (Nahapet Publishing House, 2023). She is also the author of the monograph Daniel Ghazaryan: Devotee of the Armenian Culture (2018).
