Marine Margaryan was born in 1978 in Yerevan. She graduated from the Piano Department of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan and completed postgraduate studies under the guidance of Rozaliya Tandilyan. She also studied in the Composition Department at the Komitas State Conservatory under the mentorship of Edward Mirzoyan.

As a pianist, she has performed in concerts in Armenia, Greece, Iran, Lebanon, France, Egypt, Georgia, and Switzerland.

She has participated in international competitions, winning prizes and receiving laureate titles. Some of her achievements include: “Premio Gramshi” VIII International Piano Competition (Italy) – 2nd Prize, “Stéphan Elmas” II Piano Competition (Yerevan) – 2nd Prize, “Piano International Competition” (Paris) – Medal of Honor. Additionally, she has taken part in numerous international festivals, such as: “Culture Goes to the Streets” (Beirut, 1991), and UNESCO National Commission’s II International Festival (Yerevan), among others.

Marine Margaryan has worked as an accompanist for the Chamber Choir of the National Radio of Armenia (1997-2002) and at the “Little Singers of Armenia” Children’s Philharmonic (since 1996).

She has performed with various orchestras, including the Jurmala Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Normunds Vaicis, and the Yerevan Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ruben Asatryan

She has recorded concert performances at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan and the Recording Studio of the National Radio of Armenia, contributing to the Golden Fund of Armenian Radio.

As a composer, she has written numerous songs and choral works for children, which have been performed at various composition competitions in Armenia and abroad. Her song “Peace to the World”, performed by “The Little Singers of Armenia” choir under the direction of Tigran Hekekyan, has been presented on prestigious stages worldwide, including the “Cairo Opera House” and “UNESCO” headquarters in Paris.

Currently, Marine Margaryan teaches professional piano at The Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, at The Tchaikovsky Secondary Music School in Yerevan, and The Sayat-Nova Music School

Her students frequently participate in international competitions, winning awards and performing at festivals and concerts. In the past five years alone, they have earned over 40 diplomas in renowned competitions, including IV Moscow Krainev Piano Competition (Russia), 5th International Piano Competition “Scherzo” (Israel), “Elevato” International Piano and Chamber Music Competition (Switzerland), Clara Schumann International Competition (Belgium), London Classical Music Competition (UK), “Amadeus” International Competition (Austria), Tokyo International Music Competition (Japan), 7th International Piano Art Competition (Poland), among others.
