Ashkhen Grigoryan

Ashkhen Grigoryan was born on 28th December 1989 in Hrazdan, Armenia.

In 1996, she entered the Music School named after Aram Khachaturyan.

During the study, she performed excellently and participated in various competitions, winning honorable places and certificates. Then, in 2003, she continued her studies in Yerevan at the Tchaikovsky Specialized Music School.

In 2006, she entered the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (Professor Georgy Sarajyan’s class). Completing a bachelor’s and master’s degree, she also completed a full course of additional education in «Performing and Creative Higher Mastery». 

She also took masterclasses with Georgy Sarajyan and Svetlana Navassardian.

In 2000 participated in the Arno Babajanyan Festival and was selected as the best junior participant.

In 2007, she participated in the Yelena Ter-Ghevondyan Competition for Concertmasters and was awarded the second prize. In 2009, she participated in the Georgy Sarajev Republican Competition and was awarded the Third and Special Prizes. Ashkhen was also awarded the First prize at the Renaissance International Competition-Festival.

After graduating from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, she began working in the solo singing department in the classes of Susanna Martirosyan and Lili Markosyan as a concertmaster.

From 2024, Ashkhen will also work in the music school named after Ghazaros Saryan and the Tchaikovsky Specialized Music School.
