Shake Tadevosyan

Shake Tadevosyan was born in 1975 in Yerevan, Armenia. She studied at the Music School named after Romanos Melikian and the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory in the class of the distinguished Armenian educator, Professor Vache Umr-Shat.

From 1998 to 2000, she studied in the postgraduate program at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory under the guidance of People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Professor Svetlana Navassardian.

Shake Tadevosyan is a laureate of national and international competitions. In 1998, she took the second prize at the 13th International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition held in Paris. In 2000, she won the special prize for the best performance of the piano concerto at the International Competition after Pierre Lantier in Paris, France. 

She is a lecturer at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory and Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University. Shake Tadevosyan has had solo concerts in Armenia, the United States, France, Austria, and Russia.
